Lobi Stars defender Ebube Duru has hailed the revival of the Makurdi based club and attributed the team’s good start to the season to the coach of the side Kabir Dogo.
Duru made the remark following Wednesday’s 2-2 draw in Akure against Sunshine stars incidentally the former team of the Lobi stars handler.
Duru who has skippered the team’s opening four games told brila.net that the coach is one that has been able to rally the players to play for him and that there is a feel good factor among players who are comfortable under the current manager.
He also added that he is sure the team will be in the mix for something good this season.
“Every game we always have a target and our first half against Ifeanyi Ubah was just a mistake, we want to go out every time and pick point, we know we are going to do better this season. There is a good feeling here because the coach is a calm person, he doesn’t put pressure on the players and every one want to play for him.”
