Lobi stars FC boss Gbenga Ogunbote who is currently one of the long-serving coaches in the league has called on the Super Eagles handler (Genort Rohr), to give the home-based players the chance to play.
Ogunbote in a chat with brila.net stated that they shouldn’t be any other test to prove how good the NPFL players are if they are not given a trial in the senior national team.
Ogunbote further revealed that the only thing that will enshrine confidence in them is to give them the opportunity to showcase their talents.
“The home-based should be given consideration, you will agree with me that the only thing that can make the difference is to have confidence in them and give them the opportunity to showcase their talents,” he told brila.net.
