Plateau United not under pressure despite current struggles – Golbe

Plateau United places players on half salary after difficult start to new season

Plateau united captain Elisha Golbe has stated that the Jos-based side is not under pressure despite the Premier league holders’ current struggles in the league where they sit 15th on the table with a win in the last five league games.

Golbe speaking in a chat with brila.net after the team’s goalless draw away to FC Ifeanyi Ubah on Sunday said while it’s been worrisome considering the team’s current position on the league table, they have continue to enjoy the support of the club’s General Manager and believe very soon results will mirror the hard work put in by the players.

“We are not under pressure, the GM is encouraging us, the coaches and so also we the players we are pushing ourselves to make sure that we get back to our rightful position. By the special grace of God very soon the table will change and we will be back to where we truly belong.”
