Jose Mourinho who is the gaffer of Premier League side Tottenham on Wednesday night, February 10, set two unwanted records in his side’s FA Cup defeat against Everton.

Tottenham were knocked out of this season’s FA Cup following a 5-4 defeat against Everton in which Brazilian star Bernard scored the winner for Carlo Ancelotti’s side in the extra time.

Mourinho and his wards went into this encounter with the hope of reaching the last eight as the former Real Madrid gaffer is still looking for his first title with Spurs.

Spurs took the lead through Davinson Sanchez though Everton netted three quick-fire goals and looked relatively comfortable in the encounter.

England international Harry Kane also made a return to the first team and his goal was unable to save his side’s from a defeat.

According to the report on Daily Star, it was the first time a team managed by the Portuguese boss conceded four since Chelsea beat his Manchester United side in October 2016.

Also, it was the first time since 2015 when he was at Chelsea that Jose Mourinho’s side will concede five goals in a match.

The man known as the Special One and his wards will now shift their concentration to the Premier League with the hope of ending the term on high note.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are currently occupying 8th position on the Premier League table with 36 points after 22 games played so far.

Earlier, had reported how seventeen years ago, Jose Mourinho made a brutal assessment on Arsenal’s team under his then biggest rival Arsene Wenger following their 5-4 win over Tottenham in a tough Premier League game.

Jose Mourinho then took a dig at Arsene Wenger claiming that the result of his wards were embarrassing despite getting the three maximum points after Spurs.

Thierry Henry, Lauren, Patrick Vieira, Freddie Ljungberg and Robert Pires were the scorers in 2004 for Arsenal, while Noureddine Naybet, Jermain Defoe, Ledley King and Freddie Kanoute on target for the hosts.

The former Real Madrid was not pleased with the result of the encounter claiming that Arsenal should not have allowed Spurs to net four goals against them.
